DARIEN – State Sen. Christine Radogno and state Rep. Jim Durkin will host a free Jobs Fair from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday at the Darien Sports Complex, 451 Plainfield Road.
“We have nearly 100 employers who will be on hand to meet with you about potential job opportunities,” Durkin said in a news release.
At 9 a.m., the first workshop will teach how to navigate the state employment process. The following workshop, “Stand Out Resumes,” will begin at 10 a.m. and focus on fine tuning resumes, according to the release.
At 10:45 a.m., there will be a workshop that navigates participants through the interview process, and the final workshop at 11:30 a.m. will focus on networking into a new job, the release stated.
All workshops are free of charge.
