• A credit card belonging to a resident of the 34W400 block of Roosevelt Avenue, St. Charles, was used to make seven unauthorized purchases totaling $399.90 in West Virginia, the resident told police Monday, July 21.

• Scot Eric Myers, 42, of the 49W000 block of Deer Ridge Path, Big Rock, was charged Tuesday, July 22, with driving under the influence of alcohol and illegal transportation of alcohol after a passerby reportedly saw him stopped in the road, slumped over his Chevrolet’s steering wheel on Route 64 at Wooley Road in Lily Lake.

• Royal Hawk Golf Club, 5N748 Burr Road, St. Charles, reported Wednesday, July 30, that a tunnel under Burr Road was vandalized with graffiti. Costs to repaint the walls were estimated at $300.
