LISLE – Benedictine University's Master of Public Health program recently earned national accreditation by the Council on Education for Public Health, according to a university news release.

The accreditation certifies the program meets rigorous academic standards and opens the doors for graduates to job opportunities with employers who only accept applicants from accredited programs.

The council is a member of the Association of Specialized and Professional Accreditors, which manages and provides third-party assessment information and critiques of professional higher education programs and schools.

Benedictine's public health program combines face-to-face learning with online technology to prepare students to practice in a global context.
