ADDISON – Members of Addison Trail High School's Interact Club recently went camping at Rock Cut State Park.

The nine female students camped from June 27 to 29. During their trip, the students went hiking and canoeing, learned about local wildlife, and participated in team-building exercises, according to a District 88 newsletter.

The club is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Addison and is available to students who want to join together to tackle issues in their community that they care most about, the newsletter stated.

In the newsletter, Interact Club co-sponsor Esther Delgado said this was the first time many of the girls had ever gone camping.
