Hodgkins Zoning Board of Appeals to hold medical marijuana public hearing Thursday

HODGKINS – The village of Hodgkins will open a public hearing Thursday in regards to a special use permit at 6120 River Road.

The public hearing, beginning at 7 p.m. at Village Hall, 8990 Lyons St., will discuss the proposed item from owner Joseph Hish, who wishes to lease two acres to Flat Rock Holdings, LLC. Hish's property would be constructed into an operating green house building for the cultivation of medical marijuana.

All residents, community members and other parties are invited to attend the meeting before the Hodgkins Zoning Board of Appeals.
