McHenry County Fair schedule

The McHenry County Fair begins Wednesday and runs through Sunday. Here is a list of information, activities and events for the fair.

WHEN: Gates open at 7 a.m. and close at 10 p.m. daily July 30 through Aug. 3. Vendors open at 10 a.m. and close at 10 p.m. daily. Skinners' Amusements Carnival open 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. Wristband Days for carnival rides are 1 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. (Cost of the wristbands are $17 and are good for unlimited rides on the day of purchase only.)

WHERE: 11900 Country Club Road at Route 47 and Country Club Road, Woodstock

COST & INFO: A one-day pass is $7 for adults, $3 for children ages 8 to 12 and senior citizens and free for children 7 years old and younger. A season pass costs $20. An exhibitor pass costs $15. Information: www.mchenrycountyfair.com.
