'The Devil's Glove' book signing event is Aug. 9 at Oak Brook Center

OAK BROOK – Cousin Vinny, author of "The Devil's Glove," will be signing books from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 9 at the Barnes & Noble, 297 Oak Brook Center.

Vinny's book is about a the eternal battle between good and evil – through a baseball glove, according to a news release.

The book follows the lives of two of the gloves' owners and the deals they may make with the devil. The first owner is a minor league baseball player who trades his life for a chance at the major leagues. Once the debt is paid, the glove moves on to another victim, the news release stated.
