Lisle library offers home delivery service

Published: Monday, July 28, 2014 4:22 p.m. CST

LISLE – Longtime Lisle Library District volunteer Kathy Schwandt loads her car with materials for patrons who use the library's home delivery service.

About 40 people regularly take advantage of the program. In order to receive deliveries, enrollees must live in Lisle, have a library card and be unable to go to the district due to disability or a situation that prevents visiting in person for an extended period.

The service offers books, audiobooks, DVDs, magazines and CDs.
