LA GRANGE – The La Grange Public Library will offer a two-day course to help older drivers update their knowledge about safe driving later in August.

The Smart Driver Course, co-sponsored by the AARP, will begin Aug. 13 at the library, 10 W. Cossitt Ave. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., participants will review current driving rules, along with learning about how medications, alcohol, health conditions and more can affect driving.

Class fees for AARP members will be $15 and class fees for nonmembers will be $20.

For information, email Rick Josd at carguyrj@clear.net or visit the library at www.lagrangelibrary.org.
