Lisle man dead after motorcycle crash

NAPERVILLE – A Lisle man has died after sustaining injuries in a motorcycle crash Saturday, according to a news release from the Naperville Police Department.

Preliminary investigation indicates the motorcycle's driver, Erik P. Lat, 28, was traveling at 11:45 p.m. east on Ogden Avenue when he lost control of the vehicle, the release stated, leaving the roadway on the southeast corner of Columbia Street, crashing, and suffering serious injuries in the process.

Both the Naperville Police Department and the Naperville Fire Department responded to the scene, according to the release.

Lat was transported to Edward Hospital, where he died, the release stated.

The incident remains under investigation, according to the release.
