Westmont Police host secure document shredding event

WESTMONT – The Westmont Police Department and Citadel Information Management are offering residents a secure way to dispose important documents.

From 9 a.m. to noon Aug. 23 at the Westmont Police Station, 500 N. Cass Ave., local police will team up with Citadel Information Management staff and securely shred residents' documents.

Police are asking for a $5 donation for every bag or box that fills a 12-inch by 15-inch tub. All donations will benefit the Special Olympics Illinois.
