Boater rescued from Fox River in Algonquin

ALGONQUIN — At least one individual was pulled from the Fox River during a rescue call Friday morning, according to the Algonquin-Lake in the Hills Fire Protection District.

A district official said a call came in Friday morning for a boat taking on water near the Route 62 bridge just east of North Harrison Street. By 7:50 a.m., the subject had been rescued from the water.
