Congressman Dan Lipinski to host 3 events to answer questions about district

Note to readers: According to Isaac Sancken, spokesman for Congressman Dan Lipinski,  a last minute change in plans by leadership in the House of Representatives, Lipinski’s town hall meeting scheduled for tonight at Oak Lawn Community High School has been rescheduled. The town hall meeting will be moved to Wednesday  at   7:30 p.m. , at the same location. Congressional staff will be available starting at   6:30 p.m.

LA GRANGE – Congressman Dan Lipinski, Ill - 3, will offer three upcoming events for residents in Illinois' 3rd District to attend, ask questions and get answers.

The first event will be a Town Hall meeting in Oak Lawn. Residents at the meeting will be able to ask questions and voice their opinions on federal issues from 7 to 9 p.m. July 31 at the Oak Lawn Community High School Gymnasium, 9400 Southwest Hwy.

Staff members will also be in attendance one hour prior to the meeting with information on Social Security, Medicare and other veterans' benefits

The second event for residents to attend will be the Senior Fairs, which will give attendees a chance to get assistance from the congressman's staff. Senior Fairs will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. July 28 and Aug. 4. The July event will be at the Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 653 W. 37th Street, Chicago, and the August Senior Fair will be at John Olson American Legion Post #18, at 15052 Archer Ave., Lockport.

The third event will be the Veterans Fair where Lipinski will address veterans' questions regarding military personnel, medical records, veterans' benefits and more. The Veterans Fair will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at John C. Oremus Community Center, 7902 S. Oketo Ave., Bridgeview.
