Library to host ACT/SAT practice tests, college essay prep classes

LOMBARD – The Helen Plum Memorial Library, 110 W. Maple St., will host free PSAT/ACT practice tests and college prep programs throughout the summer.

An ACT practice test will be administered from 1:15 to 4:45 p.m. July 31, and a PSAT practice test will be administered from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Aug. 9. Pre-registration is required for both tests.

College Essays: Stand Out and Get In will be presented by C2 Education from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Aug. 2. The program will explore the college admission process.

C2 Education will also present Changes to the SAT: How They Affect You from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Sept. 13. The program will help teens and their parents understand and prepare for the upcoming changes to the SAT exam.
