Westchester man dies after being struck by BNSF freight train

WESTCHESTER – A 25-year-old Westchester man died Sunday morning after being struck by a BNSF freight train in Willow Springs.

Matthew Porbeski, of the 11400 block of Enterprise Drive, was struck by an eastbound freight train at 6:30 a.m. near Willow Springs Road and Archer Avenue.

Porbeski, who was pronounced dead at the scene at 7:24 a.m., died from multiple injuries according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
