Cyclists in the Men's Pro race take the turn from Alexander Boulevard to Prospect Avenue as they circle the Elmhurst College campus in last July's inaugural Elmhurst Cycling Classic.

THUMBS UP: Good luck to all riders in today's Elmhurst Cycling Classic. The course for the second annual event will lead cyclists around the Elmhurst College campus, starting with the first race at 10:50 a.m. The Family Fun Ride at 5:50 p.m. precedes the Men's Pro finale at 6:30. Be fast and have fun.

THUMBS UP: Fred Lorenzen just added another honor to his prestigious racing career. The Elmhurst native's photo was unveiled Saturday in the Chicagoland Speedway's Legends Club. Lorenzen recently was inducted into the NASCAR Hall of Fame after winning 26 races in his career, including the Daytona 500 in 1965. Congratulations, Fearless Freddie.
