CSCSU conducts summer safety stand-down

Center for Surface Combat Systems Unit Great Lakes conducted a command midsummer safety stand-down in preparations for the warming summer months.

Items discussed included fire safety, outdoor recreation safety, suicide awareness, hazing, and the responsible use of alcohol.

Specialists from Fleet and Family Service Center, Erin Brzezinski , Kimberly Rowe, and Catherine Loisel, familiarized the command with the duties and functions of the Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR) and Family Advocacy (FAP) programs.

Cmdr. Gregory Ludwig, commanding officer of CSCSU, presented three instructors and staff with their end of tour awards and letters of appreciation.

Eight Instructors were presented with their Master Training Specialist certificates.
