Published: Friday, July 18, 2014 4:22 p.m. CST

WHEATON – Wheaton's street resurfacing program will come to Liberty Drive and Hale Street beginning Monday, according to a news release from the Downtown Wheaton Association.

Milling and repaving of Liberty from Main Street to Wheaton Avenue and of Hale from Willow Avenue north to the railroad tracks will take place from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Work on Hale will be completed by Tuesday and repaving Liberty will take two to three days. Traffic control flaggers will keep the roads open.

The parking stalls on Hale will not be grinded and repaved, and anyone with a permit to park in lot five in the area can park on the fourth floor of the north side garage during the work.
