Building relationships that lead to business is the core of BACC events and activities. Join us for a high energy networking opportunity coming up, the Network to Success luncheon scramble from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 17 at Pinstripes in South Barrington. The cost is $35 for members and $50 for nonmembers.

This progressive networking event enables you to power market your business over a three-course lunch. Attendees are assigned to a different table each course to meet a new group of contacts. Each session is led by table monitors from Connecting Barrington, a BACC networking group. They will be sure you have the spotlight each session to promote who you are and what you do. After the event, all attendees get a valuable marketing list of contacts from the scramble.

Register now for the Sept. 17 Network to Success luncheon scramble. The event is limited to no more than four professionals per industry category and no more than two professionals per company. Some categories are nearly closed out.

The Ice House Mall is expanding. In the past few months, BACC has celebrated ribbon cutting ceremonies for three new businesses now located there: Paris Market Antiques, Peaces Art Studio & Adornments and Acacia Organics-Life, Balance & Beauty. Support local business and stop in and shop!

Our monthly calendar is full of networking opportunities. Check our calendar online at BarringtonChamber.com. This month, BACC’s Women’s Biz Net will host a program featuring Lisa Raupp, a top Mary Kay Cosmetics Consultant, speaking on “The Conscious vs Subconscious,” which will focus on how to eliminate those inner voices that keep you from accomplishing your success.  The WBN lunch will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Aug. 28 at The Garlands of Barrington. The cost is $25 for members and $35 for nonmembers. Register online at BarringtonChamber.com

Join us for our Network 12:01 lunchtime networking event at The Tilted Kilt in Schaumburg on Aug. 13; and our Mixer of the Month at Accelerated Rehabilitation Centers, 455 W. Northwest Hwy in Barrington from 5 to 7 p.m. Aug. 19.

The Great Barrington Area Tastefest is in the planning stages.  The event celebrates the culinary greatness in the Barrington area. Tastefest will be held Oct. 23 at Chicago Marriott Northwest in Hoffman Estates. Tickets for the tasting and sampling are $30 for general admission in advance and $35 at the door. Restaurant vendors, register today.
