AAUW collecting for annual used book sale

LOMBARD – The Lombard Area American Association of University Women is collecting used books for its annual used book sale, intended to raise funds for scholarship opportunities.

The book sale will be held Aug. 6 to 9 at the First Church of Lombard, 220 S. Main St. All funds raised at the event will fund scholarships and grants.

Book donations can be dropped off at book barrels located at various locations throughout Lombard, including Illinois Cleaners, 200 S. Westmore-Meyers Road, Schroeder Ace Hardware, 837 S. Westmore-Meyers Road, Ultra Foods, 491 E. Roosevelt Road, Sunset Knoll Recreation Center, 820 S. Finley Road, the First Church of Lombard and various Walgreen's in Lombard and Villa Park.
