NEW LENOX – Police say a 32-year-old man has been arrested for distributing child pornography online for the second time in two years.

Daniel M. Cameron, was arrested Friday and charged with three counts of distributing child pornography, Deputy Police Chief Robert Pawlisz said in a statement. Will County jail records show Cameron is being held on $600,000 bond.

Pawlisz said Cameron came under investigation by the Will County State’s Attorney High Technology Computer Crimes Unit. He was arrested when police searched his home in the 1600 block of Briarcrest Drive.

New Lenox police arrested Cameron on five counts of producing child pornography in April 2013. He spent eight months in jail before being sentenced to three years in prison as part of a plea deal. According to court records, Cameron had been released on $100,000 bond while asking the judge to reconsider the sentence.
