Barbara J. Rosinsky, of La Grange, will fill an open seat on the Lyons Township High School Board of Education.

LA GRANGE – The Lyons Township High School Board of Education recently welcomed a new member to fill in a vacant spot left by Mark Pera.

La Grange resident, Barbara J. Rosinsky, was selected to serve the term through April 2015. The mother of three has previously been involved in District 102 in many ways, including volunteering as a Room Mom, a Parent Teacher Council volunteer and more.

The LTHS Board of Education received five applications for the seat and unanimously voted for Rosinsky.

Lyons Township High School District 204 began the search after Board President Mark Pera's announced his resignation. Pera retired from the board on June 16.
