Edeus, Grace E, 23, 4600 Franklin Ave., Western Springs, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of cannabis, possession of drug equipment, illegal transportation of alcohol and improper lane use at 2:45 a.m. June 29 at the intersection of 55th Street and Garfield Avenue after a traffic stop for improper lane use.

Credit card fraud

Two suspects tried to purchase gift cards with fraudulent credit card at 2 p.m. July 2 at Walgreens, 15 Grant Square.

Unlawful consumption of alcohol

A 17-year-old Naperville resident was charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a person under 21 at 10:45 p.m. July 2 at the intersection of 55th Street and Madison Street after a traffic stop for a seatbelt violation.

Identity theft

A PayPal account was used for three unauthorized transactions totalling $524.000 at 6 p.m. July 7 in the 700 block of North County Line Road.


• A calculator was stolen from a parked vehicle between 1 a.m. July 6 and 1 p.m. July 7 in the 400 block of East 57th Street.

• An iPod and a change purse were stolen from a parked vehicles between and 1 a.m. July 6 and 1 p.m. July 7 in the 1200 block of Chanticleer Lane.
