WEST CHICAGO – The West Chicago Professional Fire Fighter Association is raising money for the Associated Firefighters of Illinois' Warrior program, which seeks to improve the lives of wounded veterans.

The West Chicago association will host a fundraiser from 5 to 11 p.m. Wednesday at Hawthorne's Backyard, 1200 W. Hawthorne Lane.

The restaurant will donate 15 percent of all monies spent during that time to the cause.

West Chicago firefighters will serve as guest bartenders during the event and sell T-shirts for a $20 donation. The benefit also will feature a 50/50 raffle.
