BOLINGBROOK – Police said a man tried to secretly film a girl with his cellphone while she was taking a shower.

An arrest warrant was issued Wednesday charging Israel E. Salazar, 41, with one count of unauthorized videotaping, according to court records. Salazar, of the 500 block of Blackhawk Lane, was being sought for arrest Thursday.

Lt. Mike Rompa said the incident occurred in late April at Salazar’s home and was reported to police by the victim’s mother a few days later. Rompa said police began an investigation and applied for the arrest warrant after conducting interviews.
