Resident becomes Loyola’s Chief Medical Information Officer

LA GRANGE – A La Grange resident was recently named Chief Medical Information Officer at Loyola University Health System.

In his new role, Dr. Christopher R. Wood, 48, will connect the world of technology information and medicine, which in turn will assist physicians in improving their care for patients.

Dr. Wood comes to Loyola with more than 15 years of work experience in the science of managing data to help prevent disease, deliver more efficient care and increase the effectiveness of research.
