DOWNERS GROVE – Severe thunderstorms that racked DuPage County on Monday night have left about 500 ComEd customers without power as of 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, according to village spokesman Doug Kozlowski.

He said as many as 1,000 were without power at one point.

"We are working with ComEd to get some restoration times with those people," he said.

Kozlowski said there was no reported injuries or major property damage, and there were no road closures Tuesday morning.
