McHENRY – A police reconstruction of the crash that killed a 24-year-old McHenry man will take several days, McHenry police said Saturday.

William C. Baehne, 24, of McHenry died Friday evening when his motorcycle collided with a truck and small trailer on Route 120 near Northside Avenue in McHenry, authorities said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene at 8:36 p.m., according to a news release from McHenry County Coroner Anne Majewski.

Preliminary findings as to the cause of death will be available after forensic examination and toxicology tests on Monday, Majewski said.

No other injuries were reported.

The crash remains under investigation, and no arrests or citations have been issued at this point.
