Elmhurst Rotary awards more than $20K in scholarships

ELMHURST – The Elmhurst Rotary Club has awarded $20,500 in college scholarships to 13 Elmhurst students.

Five graduating seniors from York High Schools received initial scholarships, while eight college students were given scholarship renewals.

York scholarship winners include Megan Bogolia, Samantha Heiberger, Hannah Latimer, James Pukala and Molly Schlecht

College scholarship renewal students are Leah Gortowski, Nicole Heiberger, Amber Hogberg, Ainsley McGrath, Alexandra Orel, Charles Pozen, Emilio Salvia and Adam Vocalino-Szymanski.

Since 1955, the club has awarded more than $500,000 in scholarships to over 400 students, according to a Rotary Club news release.
