• Two surveillance cameras were stolen from the lobby of Budgetel Inn at 1:17 a.m. June 12 at 675 Roosevelt Road.

• The catalytic converter was removed from a truck between 6 p.m. June 13 and 11 a.m. June 14 at Family Tree Resale, 575 Roosevelt Road. Estimated value is $350.

Criminal damage

A mailbox was damaged between 12:30 and 7 a.m. June 13 in the zero block of Kenilworth. Estimated value is $50.


Joseph A. Betzwiser, 23, 2105 Prentiss Drive, Downers Grove, was charged with possession of 30 grams or less of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and no valid driver's license at 7:55 p.m. June 15 at Route 53 and Baker Hill Drive.

Public intoxication

Richard S. Downs, 30, 116 S. Surrey Drive, was charged with public intoxication at 12:21 a.m. June 9 in Surrey Park.

Underage drinking

Luke R. Peterselli, 19, 234 Scott Ave., and Henry L. Shorney, 18, 202 Taylor Ave., were both charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor at 1:04 a.m. June 15 in the 600 block of Hillside Avenue.

License violations

Renata Tapia-Oliver, 35, 831 W. College Blvd., Addison, was charged with no valid driver's license at 11:43 a.m. June 12 in the 800 block of Crescent Boulevard.
