Lisle police ticket 18 during seatbelt crackdown

LISLE – The Lisle Police Department concluded its increased seatbelt law enforcement for the 2014 national Click It or Ticket mobilization May 26, according to a department news release.

The department issued 18 seatbelt tickets during the 14-day crackdown.

In 2012, seatbelts saved an estimated 12,174 lives across the country.
