ELMHURST – Drawn by colorful cotton candy, classic carnival rides and tasty snow cones, Elmhurst families came out last weekend for the 23rd annual Elmhurst Jaycees Carnival.

The four-day carnival supports various community causes such as District 205 Foundation, the Elmhurst YMCA, Elmhurst Police Explorers and Elmhurst Children's Assistance Foundation, among others.

The Elmhurst Jaycees is a service organization for people ages 21 to 40 that focuses on developing leadership skills for members and giving back to the community.
