Standard Market fundraises for Naperville CARES, Loaves & Fishes

NAPERVILLE – Standard Market of Naperville, 1508 Aurora Ave., has partnered with local charities twice in recent weeks to raise money for more than one good cause, according to a news release from the business.

The grocer's Standard Market Grill hosted an event May 28, donating 10 percent of money spent at the cash bar to Naperville CARES, which helps families in financial crisis meet essential needs.

Additionally, from May 28 to June 3, 10 percent of all Standard Market and Standard Market Grill sales benefitted Naperville CARES when guests mentioned the charity at checkout.

Standard Market held a VIP event for Loaves & Fishes on June 4 at its wine and cheese bar, the CUBE. 10 percent of cash bar sales went toward providing food and programming to those in need.

From June 4 to 10, 10 percent of sales at Standard Market and Standard Market Grill benefitted Loaves & Fishes when customers mentioned the charity while making their purchase.
