Glenbard seeking students for anti-tobacco committee

GLEN ELLYN – Glenbard Township High School District 87 and Reality Illinois are seeking student volunteers for the 2014 Teen Advisory Panel: Anti-tobacco Committee, according to a district news release.

Reality Illinois works to raise awareness about issues regarding tobacco use and was created by and for Illinois teens with support from the Illinois Department of Public Health and the DuPage County Health Department.

The committee will meet 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Wednesdays through the summer, beginning June 18, at the district administration center, 596 Crescent Blvd., and will plan and implement an anti-tobacco campaign.
