DuPage Pads earns 4-star rating from Charity Navigator

DuPage Pads, a nonprofit whose mission is to end homelessness in DuPage County, recently received the coveted four-star rating for sound fiscal management and commitment to accountability and transparency from Charity Navigator, America’s premier charity evaluator.

This four out of four rating differentiates DuPage Pads from its peers and shows the public that the agency outperforms most other charities in America. Charity Navigator evaluates charities nationwide on some of the following criteria:

• Financial health

• Accountability and transparency

Charity Navigator celebrates and evaluates charities of all types, in all regions of the country, and whose work impacts all corners of the globe. To determine the nonprofit’s rating, Charity Navigator reviews each agency’s website and IRS Form 990.

Charity Navigator’s ratings are an expression of how efficiently a charity uses its support today and how well it has sustained its programs and services over time. Receiving the highest rating from Charity Navigator indicates that DuPage Pads is worthy of trust.

DuPage Pads receives Seal of Excellence

DuPage Pads is a recipient of the Standards of Excellence Institute’s Seal of Excellence, a voluntary certification program for organizations demonstrating the highest standards of organizational, operational, managerial and fiscal conduct.

The agency completed the institute’s certification program and earned this seal after a rigorous review of our programs by the Standards Committee and a team of trained peer reviewers. The Standards for Excellence set a high benchmark, going beyond the minimum requirements of current laws. Receiving the Seal of Excellence is also understood as “Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval” for charities.

DuPage Pads is proud to be one of the first nonprofits in the state to be a recipient of the Seal of Excellence by the Standards for Excellence Institute. This exemplifies DuPage Pads' dedication to ending homelessness and desire to meet the highest standards of ethical principles.
