Clarendon Hills Park District provides notice of pesticide application near D181 schools

CLARENDON HILLS – Between Tuesday and Friday, the Clarendon Hills Park District will apply chemical pesticides at the athletic fields, flowers beds, fence rows and tree rings near Clarendon Hills Middle School, Prospect School and Walker School.

General fertilizer and weed control products (Round Up) will be used, according to a news release from District 181.

Residents should not enter the area until it is dry and signs will be posted confirming application at the location.

The Clarendon Hills Park District makes health safety information relating to this chemical pesticide application available to residents upon request, stated the release.
