Addison seniors recognized at Awards Night

ADDISON – About 130 Addison Trail High School seniors were recognized for their achievements and outstanding academic performance during the school’s annual Senior Awards Night on May 22.

The master of ceremonies for the evening was English Department Chair Amy Ferraro, and the student master of ceremonies was senior Matthew Neuman, according to a District 88 newsletter.

During the event, students were recognized for winning scholarships, being members of Addison Trail’s National Honor Society, being selected as recipients of the President’s Award for Educational Excellence and being named as Illinois State Scholars, the newsletter stated.

The class of 2014 has received nearly $4.8 million in scholarships and financial aid.
