DOWNERS GROVE – The Downers Grove Public Library announced several updates this week in its ongoing interior renovation project.

The exterior item return drops in the alley are now open, and the automatic sorter is ready for patron returns, according to an email from the library.

The library's email update also stated the first floor bathrooms are closed, but second floor bathrooms are now freshly renovated and open.

Children's picture books are currently moving to their new home in the back of the Junior Room. Easy readers and toddler books are also moving there temporarily.

Soon, additional public computers will be accessible as carpeting, desk assembly and computer relocation continues on the second floor.

Miss Mouse's house will also be closing soon, around the time of her new cafe's grand opening, according to the library.
