Incredible Bats, and educational organization that puts on live bat shows, will be hosting an event at the La Grange library in June that will allow patrons to get up close.

LA GRANGE – Residents and community members from around the area are invited for an evening with bats later this month at the La Grange Public Library.

From 7 to 8 p.m. June 16, the library will host an event featuring the educational organization Incredible Bats and their Egyptian fruit bats and African straw-colored fruit bats. The event, which comes as part of the library’s 2014 Summer Reading Program, also will have the bats available for photo opportunities with audience members.

The library, 10 W. Cossitt Ave., can be contacted for more information at 708-215-3200 or by visiting www.lagrangelibrary.org.
