Man robs Northstar Credit Union in Warrenville

WARRENVILLE – At about 11:19 a.m. Monday, a man entered Northstar Credit Union in Warrenville and demanded cash, according to a news release from the Warrenville Police Department.

While the suspect did not display a weapon, it was implied that he had one, the release stated.

The man was last seen fleeing westbound on foot with an unknown amount of money, according to the release. Northstar Credit Union is located at 3S555 Winfield Road.

The suspect is described by the release as a 40- to 50-year-old African-American male wearing sunglasses, a blue ball cap with a white emblem on the front, white T-shirt and red/maroon Adidas jacket with three white stripes going down each arm from the shoulder to wrist, and carrying a blue leather messenger bag.

The man is further described in the release as being 5-foot-11 and weighing 160 to 170 pounds.
