Fundraiser to benefit Pioneer Center, PADS

CRYSTAL LAKE – Openings are still available for a golf outing raising funds for the Pioneer Center for Human Services and the PADS homeless shelter.

The annual Tee Up 4 Charity Golf Outing hosted by the Wauconda-based nonprofit STAR – which stands for Sharing Time and Resources – is planned for June 27.

Check-in will start at 11 a.m. with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. at Prairie Isle Golf Club, 2216 Route 176, Crystal Lake. A dinner and silent auction will follow.

The cost is $100 per golfer or $400 for a group of four, which covers 18 holes of golf, a cart, box lunch, group photo, dinner and a gift bag. Non-golfers can attend the dinner for $25 per person.
