Cantigny, McCormick Museum to unveil new features

WHEATON – Cantigny Park and the McCormick Museum will both unveil new attractions during evening events June 11, according to a news release from the McCormick Foundation.

From 5:30 to 8 p.m., Cantigny will show the Idea Garden's new west entrance, pathways and plantings. The garden is now physically connected to the park's central avenue of trees, and has improved convenience and safety. Complimentary refreshments will be served and a cash bar will be available.

From 6 to 8 p.m., visitors are invited to the museum's Gold Theatre to see the new exhibit, "Robert R. McCormick: Innovator, Journalist and Philanthropist." Cookies and coffee will be served.

Both events are free, including parking.
