ELMHURST – The president and CEO of Elmhurst Memorial Healthcare was recently honored with a community service award.

Mary Lou Mastro received the Rotary Club of Naperville's Paul Harris Community Service Award for her efforts in advocating awareness through the Mental Health First Aid program and transforming Linden Oaks into a regional resource for mental health care, according to a hospital news release.

Ten community members were honored in five categories at the Awards Luncheon for living by the Rotary motto of "service above self." A $1,000 donation was made in the name of each recipient to The Rotary Foundation by Naperville Rotary Charities.
