LOMBARD – The Yorktown Shopping Center in Lombard hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony May 2 to celebrate recently completed renovations inside the mall.

Lombard Village President Keith Giagnorio helped cut the ribbon at the event, which featured complimentary food and beverage tastings from Yorktown restaurants, live music and prize giveaways. The first 200 guests to check in received a free lilac sapling to mark the beginning of Lombard's Lilac Time.
