BOLINGBROOK – Bolingbrook police say a Chicago man kicked down the door to a home before battering and attempting to rob a victim in the 200 block of Dakota Court Wednesday morning.

Around 10:30 a.m., a man later identified as Antwon M. Rainey, 21, of 3606 Sunny Side St., Chicago, kicked in the door and attempted to take a video game system, according to police. Rainey was then approached by a male inside the home, and Rainey battered the victim before fleeing the area, police said.

Rainey was charged with felony home invasion causing injury, felony residential burglary, criminal trespass and batter, according to police.

A Bolingbrook woman who police say served as a look-out for Rainey was also charged. Leslie Vanessa Moctezuma, 20, of 350 Springmist, Bolingbrook, was charged with residential burglary, police said.
