BARRINGTON – The village of Barrington is kicking off summer art festival season with the Barrington Art Festival from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 24 and 25 at South Cook and Station Streets, in downtown Barrington.
The two-day Memorial Day weekend event will feature more than 125 juried artists from across the country. Arts will include ceramics, photography, metal work and jewelry. The festival will be conducted by Amdur Productions, the village of Barrington and the Barrington Cultural Arts Commission.
In a kid-friendly atmosphere, guests can enjoy live music, local food and interactive, art-inspired activities. Photo booths will encourage attendees to socialize during the event. This year's festival will include wine and beer gardens hosted by Francesca's Restaurant and McGonigal's Pub.
Admission is free. Parking is free throughout the downtown area.
