Police reports: Brookfield and Riverside for May 7

BROOKFIELD

Windshields shattered

Two vehicles were reported with shattered windshields at 3:18 a.m. May 1 in the 3500 block of Grand Boulevard. It was unknown if both incidents were related. There are no suspects at this time.

Burglary and theft

Miscellaneous items were reported stolen May 2 from a vehicle in the 9100 block of Broadway Avenue. The vehicle was unlocked at the time of the theft.

RIVERSIDE

DUI

• Maria D. Ramirez, 28, of the 7200 block of West 58th Place, Summit, was charged with DUI alcohol following a traffic stop for failing to signal while changing lanes while driving south on Harlem Avenue at 5:41 a.m. April 27. Police noticed an odor of alcohol on her breath. Ramirez failed both field and breathalyzer tests. She was also issued five moving violations.

• Gael A. Rubeo, 20, of the 2200 block of North Meade, Chicago, was charged with DUI Alcohol following a traffic stop for speeding on Harlem Avenue at 3:34 a.m. April 20. Police noticed a strong odor of alcohol on Rubeo’s breath during questioning. He failed both field sobriety and breathalyzer tests. He was also charged with four moving violations.

• Rene Salinas, 38, of the 4700 block of South Kolin Avenue, Chicago, was charged with DUI Alcohol following a traffic stop for improper lane usage and driving in the wrong lane in the area of Burlington Road and Harlem Avenue at 5:39 a.m. April 14. Police noticed a strong odor of alcohol on Salinas’ breath during questioning. He failed field sobriety tests and refused to take a breathalyzer tests. He was also charged with five moving violations.
