BARRINGTON – Barrington Children’s Charities hosted a fourth annual Run for the Roses Derby Party fundraiser Saturday.

Attendees watched the Kentucky Derby live at Old Barrington Farm, 26059 W. Scott Road in Barrington, and enjoyed derby-inspired food, an open bar, live music, best-dressed awards, a 50-50 raffle, outdoor lounge and more.

Tickets were $100 per person. Sweet indulgences included Chocolate Pecan, Bourbon Cherry and Kentucky Derby Pie.

Proceeds benefited Barrington Children’s Charities, a nonprofit charitable organization that works to positively impact the lives of children. Run entirely by volunteers, the organization donates all funds to support and address the social, emotional, physical and educational needs of children within the Barrington 220 School District. Beneficiaries are chosen based on need.
