Competing at the DuPage Valley Conference meet it hosted Friday, the Glenbard North boys gymnastics team posted a score of 112.50 to finish sixth.
The Wheaton co-op (150.60) was the league champion.
A day later, the Panthers participated in the Steve Kafka invitational at Glenbard West High School and finished with a score of 104.90. Luke Meister was sixth in the all-around competition with a 38.50, and Asim Zaidi placed fifth on the pommel horse with a 7.40.
With Cece Dopart tossing a complete-game, two-hit shutout, the Glenbard North softball team beat West Aurora 2-0 in DuPage Valley Conference action Monday. Dopart struck out 10 batters while Sarah Petzold, and Alex Caliva led the offense with a double and RBI each.
Behind a special performance at the plate from Sydney Benz, the Panthers defeated Plainfield Central 13-2 Saturday.
Benz went a perfect 4-for-4 with a double and two home runs while driving in four runs.
A day earlier, the squad beat Glenbard East 10-3.
On April 24, Glenbard North knocked off St. Charles North 5-3 as Dopart struck out six in a complete-game effort. Stephanie Campos was 3-for-4 with a double and RBI to lead the offense.
The Panthers captured the title at Saturday’s Addison Trail invite after posting a perfect record of 5-0.
The squad beat the host Blazers 16-25, 25-18, 15-13 and also defeated St. Charles North, Elk Grove, Latin and Wheaton Academy at the event.
The Panthers defeated West Aurora 1-0 April 24. A day earlier, the squad lost by the same margin to Naperville Central.
The Panthers competed at the Carlson-Anderson Classic hosted by Batavia High School on Saturday.
Tasia Collins was second in the shot put with a mark of 37 feet, 10.5 inches, and Allison Wahrman placed second in the long jump with a distance of 16-5.
The 4x100-meter relay team also placed second.
The Wildcats participated in Friday’s Glenbard East invitational.
Cindy Mendez won the 400-meter race with a time of 1:03.21.
Kori King was fifth in the long jump with a distance of 14 feet, 6 inches, and Kelly Conlon placed fifth in the triple jump (31-4).
The Wildcats scored 12 points at Friday’s Glenbard South Raider invite.
Nate Wesolek placed first in the pole vault with a height of 13 feet, 9 inches, and he also was sixth in both the 110-meter and 300 hurdles.
