Glenbard East theatre program to perform Tony Award-winning whodunit comedy

LOMBARD – The Glenbard East High School theatre program will present "The 39 Steps" at 7:30 p.m. May 7 to 10 at the school, 1014 S. Main St.

The whodunit comedy has won two Tony Awards and was voted best new comedy in 2007. In this madcap story, Richard Hannay, wrongfully convicted of murder, must solve the crime and clear his good name while eluding both the police and the real murderers

Cast members include Sean McGuire, Rachel Callaly, Andrew Connett, Nathan Dittemore, Joey Egan, Brittney Freeman, Ethan Kamperman, Maggie Joyce, Nick Karris, Alex Stratton and Stephanie Turner.

Tickets are $7 and may be reserved or purchased at the door. To reserve tickets, call 630-424-6640 or purchase tickets at the before school, after-school or during lunch periods.
